Common Reasons for a Same-Day Visit
- Vomiting or diarrhea
- Not eating or drinking
- Limping or sudden pain
- Coughing or sneezing
- Ear infections, head shaking, or scratching
- Skin rashes, hot spots, or lumps
- Eye redness, squinting, or discharge
- Urinary accidents or straining to urinate
- Lethargy or “just not acting right”

When to Go to the Emergency Hospital Instead
Some problems can’t wait. Go to the nearest emergency hospital right away if your pet:
- Is having trouble breathing
- Has collapsed or had a seizure
- Has a swollen belly and is trying to vomit but nothing comes up
- Has been hit by a car or badly injured
- Ate something poisonous
- Is a male cat straining to urinate (learn why this is an emergency)

Hours
We’re open Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm, and closed Saturday and Sunday. For same-day visits, calling earlier in the day gives you the best chance of being seen.
What Happens at a Sick Visit
Your veterinarian will do a full nose-to-tail exam and ask about your pet’s symptoms. If needed, we can run lab work and X-rays in-house. We’ll explain what we find and give you a clear estimate before starting treatment.
